Welcome to

Titahi Bay Intermediate School

Kia ora,

Titahi Bay Intermediate opened in 1970 and has been serving the community for over 50 years. We are proud of the role we play in the development of the students who spend their intermediate years with us.

Our specialty is catering for not only the educational needs, but also the social and emotional needs of students in the 10-13 year age group. This is the time in their lives where students begin to become more independent, build new friendships and think more critically about a wider range of ideas and issues. This is a time of transition for students and we focus on improving their confidence to take ownership of their learning as they evolve into young adults.
